Journey 2: The Mysterious Island DVD Giveaway

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island was just released on DVD and Blu-Ray Tuesday, June 5.  To celebrate the release we have put together a Giveaway where one lucky reader will win the Journey 2 DVD.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is a fun filled Science fiction family adventure film that will have everyone wondering what it would be like if the mystical island of Atlantis did exist and how they would survive in the outback of the island.

Warner Bros. has also just released their new Journey 2: The Mysterious Island blog app! 

This app features an activities section where you can spin the wheel to get your very own personalized adventure.  Will you create a map of your own house and put together a treasure hunt or build a fort for a family movie night?

Movie Information

Journey 2 is actually the follow-up to the original 2008 movie “Journey To The Center Of The Earth”.  The movie is based off another one of Jules Verne’s novels, called The Mysterious Island.  The movie starts off with Sean Anderson receiving a coded distress signal from an island that is not known to exist.  Thinking that this signal may have come Sean’s grandfather and that it could be coming from the “mysterious island” that Jules Verne’s had wrote about in his book, Sean decides to go on a new journey half way around the world to find this island.  Hank, Sean’s stepfather, who was unable to stop him from going had decided to come along in hopes that maybe this trip could bring him closer to his step son.  One the way they meet up with a helicopter pilot, Gabato, and his daughter Kailani who join them on the journey. The four crash on this mysterious island after being hit by a rare storm where they find crazy life forms and different secrets and adventures around every turn.  They must find Sean’s grandfather and escape the island before it is to late. 

The film stars Josh Hutcherson, Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Lusi Guzman and Vanessa Hudgens.
